hey. my name is katrina stevens .. and this is my story. the story of a simple girl..
my family is seemingly perfect..at least to all looking in on it from the outside. i have the parents.. mommy and daddy. lol. and i have all the brothers and sisters that anyone could have.my life is technically perfect. i eben had the best friend and the boy next door thing going on too. lol. but what if this technicality of perfection isnt what it seems? i have lived in the same survey for 10 years .. almost my whole life. i moved after 4 years to a bigger house in the same survey, but i just moved up the street. lol. well.just before my exams in grade 10 the 10th year that i lived here and the 10th grade, i was in my glory when my best friend moved in. but see..here is the all is not what it seems part.. my best friend was kicked out because she was friends with me.. :S kind ghetto but thats life. lol. me and my family and now newly added member to the 'crew' lol... were forced to up and leave move very far away from where we lived for MY WHOLE LIFE! but my parents convinced us that this was going to be a good thing and that it would bring my family closer together.. in hopes that me and my bestfriend whom i like to call my eldest sister would be home more and that the children would get along better. my father was retired and was tired of being trapped in the polluted city and crowded by lawyers and bosses that constantly were on his back. so.. dad wanted to move. after the 4th year of living in the same survey though is when tragedy struck my family. my father was at an ordinary day at work as some guy that you would see hanging off your building doing somesort of construction. lol. and during his day at work a partner of his didnt do something right, and the lift thing that they were on.. jolted and my father fell from the building. no .. im only kidding ..lol. but actually he leaned so far back on the lift that he ended up breaking some disks in his back, and no longer was able to work..then began the fights with compensation...later on the ever so successful win and now here we are.. at his retirement. well, my father had been looking at houses since my before april of this year and finally found one that he thought would be a suitable choice. so there i was packing my house up with the fam and we were ready to move. our parents are the kind that could hate each other so much but at the end of the day would want to be with each other and wouldnt make the other sleep on the couch because the bed would feel empty. well except for that one exception..when my mother was pregnant with dillon my now 7 year old brother she slept in the 'spare' room beacuse she for some odd reason didnt want to sleep with my dad. but my parents moved us to a small town..marmora, ontario. i had personally never heard of this little place and it was bearly a speck on the map. how could my father find such a place.. well only he could find a place like that. and so.after the month of august we were officially moved and moved in at that. oh, did i mention that my father made my grandma come too? well he did. and my best friend and grandma arent big fans of each other...well.. we also clearly had to starta new school too and we now go to some place called centre hastings secondary school..my sister is in grade 12 (well supposed to be) loll. and i am in grade 11 and my other brother is now in gade 9. i think that he is the luckiest because he was never at a different high school and he gets to graduate in the same school that he started in. but the point is..that me and keshia had the hardest time. keshia is used to it though beaucse this is like her 4th or something highschool..only my 2nd. but we have made some new friends..met some good people, some odd and weird people and some people that may not be our friends anytime soon. lol. but isnt that how it always is ? i think it just may be ..except in my old school i was pretty much friends with everybody. but now we have those few 'good' friends and pretty much have the school memorized and the town that it is in and also our town too. during the summer when we first moved here we obviously didntknow anybody. but soon there after keshia and joe made friends with a boy that lived behind us. his name is sam. sam had soon became my friend too. and he showed a lot of cool places that we could bike to, walk to and chill at. lol. so thats how we know our way around the town .lol. but now it is christmas break during "school time" so that means we have lived in marmora ontario for 5 months now. i have become accustomed to how it is up here now.. well sort of. lol. i think that i will never be that much at home here because my home was in hamilton and that, i do believe is still where my heart is right now. .. so so far that has been my adventure from city to country.

she's lost in her cold world, all alone. With not a single person to comfort her. she can't seem to find a reason to live, to go on and stay as she used to be.. strong..she's alive, but it's as if she's lost all the hope, like a stray dog with no where to call home... she can't take what this world is throwing at her, but she continues to take it every day and keep on trying... she can't live this way, but she has no choice, there's nothing left to lose. No one but herself...Things are never what they seem... The only thing left that's real is the pain in her heart from him.But she meant so well, she tried so hard, how could she be left in the cold like this, has the world gone to hell? she continues to walk, heartbroken, without a soul, waiting for the day that will never come.Waiting for someone to wake him up from this never-ending nightmare..but for now it seems like the longing will forever be there and that she is stuck in this place i have come to know as purgatory.

my favourite book. ♥
Love You Forever

A mother held her new baby and very slowly rocked him back and forth, back and forth, back and forth. And while she held him, she sang:

The baby grew. He grew and he grew and he grew. He grew until he was two years old, and he ran all around the house. He pulled all the books off the shelves. He pulled all the food out of the refrigerator and he took his mother's watch and flushed it down the toilet. Sometimes his mother would say, "this kid is driving me CRAZY!"
But at night time, when that two-year-old was quiet, she opened the door to his room, crawled across the floor, looked up over the side of his bed; and if he was really asleep she picked him up and rocked him back and forth, back and forth, back and forth. While she rocked him she sang:

But at night time, when he was asleep, the mother quietly opened the door to his room, crawled across the floor and looked up over the side of the bed. If he was really asleep, she picked up that nine-year-old boy and rocked him back and forth, back and forth, back and forth. And while she rocked him she sang:

The boy grew. He grew and he grew and he grew. He grew until he was a teenager. He had strange friends and he wore strange clothes and he listened to strange music. Sometimes the mother felt like she was in a zoo!

If he was really asleep she picked up that great big boy and rocked him back and forth, back and forth, back and forth. While she rocked him she sang:

If that great big man was really asleep she picked him up and rocked him back and forth, back and forth, back and forth. And while she rocked him she sang:

My Favourite Crime, Manslaughter
My favourite crime is manslaughter. Manslaughter is a type of murder known as culpable murder. Manslaughter is the slaying of human beings or the "destruction of men". According to law, it is the unlawful killing of a man, either in negligence or incidentally to the commission of some unlawful act, but without specific malice, or upon a sudden excitement of anger. Anyone who commits manslaughter is accused of an indictable offence and can be sentenced to the maximum of life imprisonment or the minimum of four years, and in which case may be trialed by judge or jury.

What's this ST..JOHNS (CBC) - A young St. John's man was cleared of wrongdoing Thursday in the stabbing death of his brother two years ago. Ilir Mustafa, 20, was charged with manslaughter in 2006, after his brother, Atdhe Mustafa, 27, was stabbed in the family home. He later died in hospital.
But in Newfoundland Supreme Court on Thursday, the Crown said it would not present evidence in the case and agreed with the defence that Mustafa was acting in self-defence in a violent struggle with his estranged brother.
"The Crown did a critical analysis of the case and determined that self-defence was a viable matter for the accused," said prosecutor Elizabeth Ivany.
Mustafa, who continues to live with his family in St. John's, did not comment after the proceeding. He is expected to return to science studies at Memorial University this winter.
Justice Phonse Faour acquitted Mustafa, and then told him he was a free man. Mustafa showed little emotion during the proceeding of when he left the court.
Notes presented to the Crown by defence lawyers Bill Collins and Michael King showed that Atdhe Mustafa assaulted his younger brother during a confrontation that also involved other family members.
Police notes showed "the victim grabbed [Ilir Mustafa] by the head and beat him up by banging his head into the victim's knee."

VANCOUVER -- A man who fatally stabbed his friend but insisted he had no memory of the savage attack was found guilty of manslaughter -- but not guilty of the more serious charge of second-degree murder -- in a Vancouver jury trial Saturday.
Sasan Ansari, 29, admitted that he caused the stab wounds that led to the death of his friend, Josh Goos, but testified that he didn't remember the actual attack.
A forensic psychiatrist testifying for the defence told the jury that the UBC law student was likely in a "dissociative state" brought on by stress at the time of the slaying and suffered a bout of amnesia.
Goos, 27, suffered 30 knife wounds, six or seven of them potentially fatal, in the May 2006 assault outside West Vancouver's Hollyburn country club.
He was attacked while he sat in his Jeep Cherokee and fled the vehicle before being assaulted again and then dragged down the stairs outside the club.
The Crown argued that there had been increasing tensions between the two men over a $90,000 loan to Ansari from Goos.
The victim wanted his money back and, prosecutors argued, was rebuffed yet again during the night of the attack.
Ansari testified that Goos pulled a knife on him and that he grabbed the knife away from Goos but added he doesn't recall anything happening afterward until he woke up in his brother's home several hours later.
The Crown told the jury that Ansari was the one who brought the weapon to the fight because he was uncertain about what might happen.

man oh man, im not writing this note to anyone, i just wanted to write, i love it. lol. i love him ♥ but he doesnt love me back. lyfe and love stinks. :( i relly love him tho. cant wait to see him again. nd hold his body close to me, smell the scent of his calogne and feel his breathe on my kneck,and rub my hands down his body, just kknowing that thats hes there for me. but then, the image fades, he slipped away.. out of my hands like soft sand in through my fingers, gone..picked up by the wind and drifting in circles around and around just chasing itself. but the wind dies back down, and im able to pick it back up and hold it a little while longer before the wind takes flight and it leaves me again. i know the sand doesnt belong in my hands, it belongs out there with the wind, but for now, ill keep it safe, till then, till the wind comes and it has to leave me again..i shouldnt be able to hold it while i am here, but for some odd reason its seems like its letting me but i thnk that its almost time to let go, just one last feel..but no, if i do, i kno that i just wont be able to let go...so i must release it back to the wind. i open my hands, at first its just gentle, not strong enough to take it, then it picks up, and with that, the sand is lost. unable to retrieve it, i think that its bout time that i walk away, and just go back to the bench, at leats i kno it cant be taken away by the wind. never.
